New York Times - Metro

This is my loooooooongest illustration. It accompanied an article by Dodai Stewart on the battle for space on New York’s streets. The concept was dreamed up by Eden Weingart and Umi Syam at the times. It took a while to work out how to draw things from above without losing too much character, but we got there in the end.
